Shanghai Machinery Complete Equipment (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Complete Equipment Group), formerly known as the Shanghai Machinery Complete Equipment Bureau, was founded in 1959. It has been assigned to the first Ministry of Machinery Industry, the Ministry of Materials, the Shanghai Municipal Planning Commission, the Economic Commission and the SASAC. In 1999, approved by the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, it was reorganized into an enterprise group with multiple state-owned investments.

In 2006, it was held by China SFECO Group. In 2011, it was listed in the Shanghai Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd with China SFECO Group and listed as a whole. Complete Equipment Group is the vice chairman unit of the China Machinery and Equipment Engineering Association, chairman unit of Shanghai Electrical and Mechanical Equipment Bidding Industry Association and the civilized unit of Shanghai.

In the past sixty years, the Complete Equipment Group has provided hundreds of billions of complete sets of equipment and supporting services for major projects and major technological transformation projects of the state and Shanghai, accumulated rich experience in equipment integration, and brought together a large number of professionals.
